Hotel Praia Ipanema?
 

Has anyone stayed here recently. They seem to have remodelled some of the rooms and the location looks goos...does anyone have any advice or opinions on this proporty.

I'm looking at hotels for our trip too and I have a dumb question: How do you know that the rooms have been remodelled recently? The web site doesn't say anything about it.

Are there any other hotels you're looking at? We're thinking of the Marina Palace and Ipanema Plaza. Just curious, in case I missed something. Thanks.

The Ipanema Plaza is a new hotel so it doesn't need remodeling yet. Your question is a good one as far as remodeling but you don't know where the poster got that info. One way for example would be to go to a website like ipanema.com or blameitonrio4travel.com and send an email to the person who runs the website. These 2 sites I know the people who run it live in Rio, I have sent emails to them and have had questions like this answered in the past, this is just one way.

I just have the information on the website...they state the Superior and Deluxe rooms have been redecorated and the other rooms still have carpet vs. newer tile floors...it's under room descriptions.
