Hotel for last night near SJO

We are flying to SJO from Osa area on June 26. We will arrive about 10:00 on Sansa. Our flight home leaves at 6:55 the next morning. I need some thoughts on what we could do for the morning, afternoon and evening. I also need the name of a place to stay that would allow reasonably easy access to SJO.

We like Xandari - beautiful views with lots of nice trails and some small waterfalls on the property. It's a great spot for a last night, about 20 minutes or so from the airport. They offer a free ride to the airport.

I agree that Xandari is a great hotel for your last day in CR. It's a perfect place spend a final day and night after the Osa. They have some nice pools, beautiful grounds and good food. And like volcanogirl mentioned, a free ride to the airport.

We loved it there last year, and would love to go back and spend more than just one night!

You don't say what your budget is, but Xandari is pretty pricey, starting out in green season at $220. For lower price alternatives, check out Hotel Bougainvillea or Orquideas Inn.
