Hotel $150 Range
Any recommendations for Buenos Aires hotels $150 range (including tax) for four or five nights in November?

There are a lot of hotels for that price. You mean per day, right? The exchange between dollars and pesos is very good at this moment. I've stayed at the Imperial Park Hotel in 9 de Julio Ave. (www.imperialpark.com.ar). It's around $60 the night. The service is great and the place is very clean and close to everything. The only setback is that, since it's right on the avenue, it's very noisy. But, I just returned this week and they were starting to rennovate te hotel to include more rooms. It seemed that those rooms aren't going to have a view to the avenue, so my guess is that they will be more quiet. Good luck!

If you really want to spend $150 in BA, I'm sure you can, but we stayed at Torre Cristoforo Colombo Suites in Palermo and paid about $50 a night in December for a suite including kitchen, living/dining area, bedroom and bathroom plus a large and varied buffet breakfast. Beautiful area, very quiet, or at least most evenings--once there was a concert at La Rural (conference center nearby) We were on the back of the hotel on a high floor, which made it quiet. Short walk to the subte or cabs constantly going by the hotel.

I booked the Mariott on their web site for $116US plus tax. It is situated right on Florida, the walking street.

We have been to Buenos Aires december-january 05 and stayed at the Melia 85$US with breakfast for 2 included. In april 05, we stayed at the Sheraton $110US, no breakfast included. Both hotels are situated 2 streets from Florida. In the same area, we visited the NH Hotel wich was cheeper around $60US. We prefered the Melia. PELO

Check out Bobo hotel, in the Palermo area. It's a very small, chic hotel and rooms start at $90, incl breakfast. Can't believe they are so nice.
