Hip early 60's couple
 
My husband & I are looking for a relaxing 1 week get away this month (January)...Would like to be on the beach, quiet (not to touristy), yummy food, & not to expensive (under $200. a day)...We are open for suggestions & help...

Akumal or Tulum Mexico. Both quiet towns with beautiful beaches.

We like the Mot Mot Hideaway at Tulemar Bungalows in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Price varies by month so you'd have to check on that.

IMO, the beach at Tulemar, while private, was pretty fugly.

While not on the beach, this place in Todos Santos is beautiful.
