Here's our plan for CR- what do you think?

Background- there are 5 adults traveling. My husband and me (ages 26 & 27) My parents (ages 55) and my brother (age 23)

Day 1- Fly into San Jose. DH and I arrive around 1:00pm, parents and brother arrive 9:00pm. Stay at Hotel Villa Bonita.

Day 2- rent car and drive to Manuel Antonio. Hopefully staying at Hotel California.

Day 3-6 Manuel Antonio

Day 7- (Christmas Day) Drop off car and fly from MA to SJO, then fly from SJO back home.

Thanks for your help! This is so last minute, I need all the help I can get ;)

This sounds like a plan ! Your biggest issue is probably to find a place to stay if Hotel California does not work out , so good luck with that .... The other is to make certain your domestic flight gets you back to the international airport in plenty of time for your flight home . Another option is to find a nice place closer to San Jose for the last night , and you could explore the area a bit ?

Thanks Fathie! Our flight leaves around 10:30 am Christmas Day. I believe there is a 6:30, 7:00, & 8:00 amflight. (guessing here...) Is that chancing it too much? My books say the flight is only 25 minutes long...

The flight is onle 20-25 minutes , correct . But ..... you definitely need to be at the airport in San Jose at least 2 hours before your flight . No question. I would try to make the early(6;30) flight for sure .

Did you get in to Hotel California ?

Oh my!! Now I am very excited! We are staying 5 nights in MA.

Our first two nights are at Hotel Si Como No and our last 3 nights are at Hotel Mankanda. Quite an upgrade from Hotel California ;) They had openings and folks were willing to upgrade! Soo excited!
