Help with Luxury AI in Riviera Maya with children

Looking for a luxury all inclusive in Riviera Maya with a great beach, terrific food and excellent service, which allows children for an upcoming winter vacation. We are considering Grand Velas, but the more affordable Master Class category rooms are almost a mile from the beach! Also looking at Iberostar Paraiso Maya, but afraid it might be too big & food not that great. Prefer not to travel more than 30 minutes from the airport.

The IB Maya is not too big to navigate. Cetainly not a mile from the beach from their furthest building!! Food is so subjective. You won't go hungry at the IB Maya. I haven't been to the Grand Velas yet, but it sounds like it's a couple steps up from the IB Maya. People who have stayed at the IB Grand said they liked the Grand Velas better and that's really saying something!!

Take a look at Royal Service at Paradisus. The rooms were very close to the beach. Some were ocean front. If you don't get Royal Service, you could be very far from the beach. Food is very good there, large pool, kids club, etc. etc.

There are several great family all inclusive resorts. The food will be similar at all of the all inclusives so you might want to choose based on something else. The Iberostars are great hotels and offer some of the neatest water activities and you can get access to several as they are close together and you don't have to pay extra.
