Help! Need advice on Buenos Aires hotel with large beds
Were traveling to Buenos Aires soon and still do not have a hotel yet. I suspect most places in BA are typical European style hotels with:
Small Rooms HARD UNCOMFORTABLE BEDS Single twin beds right next to each other Loud rooms with lack of soundproofing looking over a busy road. Is there any hotels that have larger beds (three of us in the room) and are very quiet. Thanks! |
Had a lovely room with a king bed at the Four Seasons.

There are lots of options for good, king sized beds in BA....
Artsuites has king beds and the suites are spacious and quiet....you can get a two bedroom for three people and live quite nicely.... Howard Johnson's Plaza has king beds...right on Florida street, but there is no noise if you are one of the upper floors. The Holiday Inn Express has very comfortable, decent sized beds.... |
Thanks for the advice so far but the two places mentioned were full when I am planning on going.
We are actually scheduled to go to the Waldorf Hotel in Buenos Aires as part of a package deal but suspect we will bail out because it is supose to be terrible. Though the package is cheaper than airfare alone. Anyone stay at the Waldorf Hotel in BA? How are the beds? |
Have you tried the Hotel Madero...they advertize that they have nice beds.....I will be there for the first time this next weekend, so I cant speak from firsthand experience.....Ask for the grand opening special $80 a night, plu tax. hotelmadero.com

My husband and I stayed at both the Sheraton Towers and Hilton in Buenos Aires a few weeks ago and both hotels had big, comfortable, king size beds. We stayed in a Junior Suite at the Hilton and the room was quite large, approox. 600-700 sq.ft. and very contemporary furnishing. They also have one bedroom suites which I thought was too big.
