Dear Thingorjus, I sent you an email with the information but I thought someone else might be interested so I will post it here.
Chinatown is located in Belgrano. It is a very small district (not like Chinatown in Los Angeles, for example). You can get there by bus, train and subway. It is in front of "Barrancas de Belgrano". These are three buddhist temples/organizations: - KAGYU TEKCHEN CHOLING http://www.kagyuargentina.org/ Address: Av. Melian 2171, between Juramento and Mendoza, City of Buenos Aires. Argentina "Fo Guan Shan" http://www.ibpsargentina.org/abre_home.html Address: Av. Crámer 1733, City of Buenos Aires. Phone: 4786-9969 Email: [email protected] For information: Tuesdays to Fridays 10-12 hs and 15-18 hs. Saturdays 16-19 hs. - TEMPLO TZONG KUAN http://www.geocities.com/tzongkuan/ Address: Montañeses 2175, City of Buenos Aires. Phone: 4781-9732 Email: [email protected] Activities: - Practice of meditation and Dharma talk. Saturdays 18 hs. - Visit to the temple during the week: Mondays to Fridays 9-11 hs and 14-17 hs. If you need any additional information just let me know. Cintia [email protected] |
Thank you, Cintia. I read on the Thorntree (Lonely Planet) Website that Barrancas was a very dangerous neighborhood. True??
