Has anyone flown on Aeromexico?

My finacee and I are heading from Dallas to Puerto Vallerta and we've found some cheap flights on Aeromexico. Has anyone flown on this airline? I don't know anything about them and would like some opinions. I do not want to fly on a "cheap airline" like Valuejet or anything of the like.

Thanks.

I usually fly Aeromexico 100+ times per year. It is Mexico's largest airline, and one of the most punctual airlines in the world. Their record for arriving and departing on time is +90%.

I've never had any problems with lost luggage, duplicate seats, mechanical failures or any other thing that can be imputable to the airline.

It is certainly no Valuejet.

I fly frequently on Aeromexico. It is very similar to a US airline like Delta. I think the food is a little better and I beleive they use more flight attendants than US airlines do which makes for better service. It is not like a discount airline- no complaints.

One of the finest airlines I have ever flown. Free drinks and meal even in coach. Excellent on time performance.

Forgot to add that Aeromexico is a part of SkyTeam, with Delta, Air France, Korean Air, and a couple of others.

I've flown Aeromexico from Dallas to PV twice and elsewhere in Mexico. First let me say that I deem flying an ends to a means. As long as it gets me to where I'm going, it's on time, and my luggage arrives with me, I don't really care if the food is good or if there's a certain # of flight attendants. The only thing I'm thinking about is what I'm going to do when we land. But Aeromexico is a very large company and I have never found anything to complain about.

flew them once and it reminded me of what it was like years ago when flying: great friendly service, good food, free drinks. the only downside is that they still allowed smoking on the flights.

Thanks for all the posts and reasurrance! It's sounds like a great airline.

Aeromexico doesn't allow smoking anymore.

Have flown it a couple times and the only complaint we had was that last October they cancelled our flight and we had to come home a day early. Wasted money since we were paying for a day at an IC and had to leave a day sooner than planned.
