Has anyone been to Cabo?

Any advice on Cabo San Lucas would be great (hotel, etc.)

Lots of people have been to Cabo. Some love it, others hate it. Do a text search and many, many post will come up. Read through them and then come back with specific questions, if you still have any!

I'm looking into the Melia San Lucas vs. the Pueblo Bonito Rose. Which is better? We're younng (26 & 30) and while we want something beautiful and romantic, we want to be near the nightlife. Which of these hotels is best? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

If you want nightlife, make sure you stay in downtown Cabo. You will be able to walk everywhere (Cabo Wabo, etc.) You can find some nice romantic places on the Pacific Ocean side of Cabo. Have fun!!

From what I have read on the message boards, I would stay at the Pueblo Bonito Rose.
We've been going to Cabo for several years and love it. We first stayed at the Melia San Lucas and loved it; bought a timeshare at their sister resort the Melia Los Cabos; and on our recent trips have visited the Melia San Lucas and found it to be way too crowded. At the airport and on the websites, we have heard great things about the Pueblo Bonito Rose, tho we've never actually been there. As for restaurants, on our last trip we loved the Ole' Ole' best of all - great chips and salsa, lobster, and k-bobs. Also like Pancho's for Mexican food. Be sure and do the ATV's to the lighthouse. Hope this helps. eb from Texas

Just got back from Cabo about a week ago. Stayed at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. Visited the sister properties, PB Rose and PB Blanco.
We enjoyed the Sunset Beach property tremendously. Great service and beautiful room (Executive suite).
Both PB Rose and Blanco are very busy, lots of action for guests. The only complaint I have is that it was not easy to find an empty lounge chair around the pool area. Most guests stake out their space early in the morning. Pueblo Bonita properties are nice. Enjoy your trip!

Been to Cabo several times. Pueblo Bonito Blanco is much nicer than the Rose. These are time shares, so best to go on a Monday and if you're staying more than 7 days, sometimes will have to move to another room. Best swimming beach ever. Lots of nightlife downtown Cabo. Be sure to go to DiGorgio's to watch sunset (cabbies know where it is).
