A good friend is planning to go there in a few weeks. Ive read about awful incidents. <BR>Anyone there lately? Problems? Advice? Many thanks.

i have been living in guatemala since 1993.i have been robbed a few times.i counsel to be wise and careful in the city. outside the city there are fewer problems.still no night traveling.if you are careful you should have no problems.enjoy your trip.write me if you have any other questions.my name is david choiniere
