Guadiana Neighbourhood in San Miguel-good location?

Looking at a rental on Prongación de Aldama, just north of the intersection with Cinco de Mayo, in Guadiana neighbourhood. Although a good walk into centro, would this be a good location? Friends have said it wouldn't be wise to walk to and from this far away after dark? Does anyone know this area and can give thoughts on it? Thanks

Hello,
The Salida a Celaya in SMdA is under construction and the folks in Guadiana are bonkers over the detoured traffic in their barrio. It is a very nice neighborhood, but the residents were not told about the detours and they are most unhappy.
Construction should be finished by ....
Walking there is not a problem if you are more than one or two.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the intersection you mentioned is on the very route of the "detour" into town and traffic is horrendous.

Thanks for that info..I wouldn't be renting until next February. In your opinion, would I be safe to assume it should be cleared up then?

Hi Cuhah,
Should be finished by August 1 if the mordida flows freely.
