Hi Jill,

How the heck are you? I started reading tully's TR the other day and wondered why you hadn't commented yet. It's because you were already in CR yourself! Lucky duck!

It's exciting to hear the plans for your house start to take shape. You'll have to post some photos as construction moves along.

Allylam Jun 24th, 2010 02:53 PM

Hey Shillmac! I don't know if you remember me. I moved to Nosara Costa Rica over 5 years ago to build a hotel. I'm still here! We sold the hotel though and built our dreamhome. We now rent the dreamhome for income and stay in another little house we own here when the big beach house is rented. It's a great lifestyle. Where exactly are you building? Have patience! You'll need it!

cam, I've been worried about you! Have you been really swamped with work? Thought about you guys the other day when going to the waterfall. I told DH how bad I still felt about that long trek we took you on when you were short on time! And hot. . .promise not to do THAT to you again! Will post photos for sure. And you will visit, right?!

Allison, yes, of course I remember, are you kidding? You are still in Nosara? Have YET to go there. I was going to stay in your hotel, remember? Guess we will just have to visit the dreamhome now. Hey, maybe we can house swap if you ever want to visit the mountains! Stay in touch! Good to hear from you.

cmerrell Jun 24th, 2010 06:22 PM

Hi Jill,

Life has been fairly chaotic, but all is well with me. I never intended to be out of touch for such a long time, though. It's crazy how swiftly time flies! I'd love to come see your house once you get settled. I hope things proceed at a good pace with the construction.

One day I will see that waterfall! I swear that I will!! :-))

Enjoy the rest of your time in CR. Will look forward to hearing about your adventures...

In my usual quiet ,nice, peaceful and non intrusive way I am following all this . :)

Allylam Jun 25th, 2010 06:18 AM

I love the mountians and sometimes I love leaving Nosara and going some pace where it's a bit cooler! Yes, doing a house swap would be fun! When you need a weekend break from constuction, give me a call! Pelada House: 2682-5103 Beach House 2682-5117 Office 2682-4007

shillmac Jun 25th, 2010 06:58 AM

Yes, you will cam! ;) Take it easy, you may be working too hard.

Yeah, Percy, unobtrusive. That's you! :)

Okay, deal, Ally. We definitely will visit! Nosara's been on our list forever!

Take care, all.

Percy Jun 25th, 2010 06:31 PM

I love you too shillmac :)

shillmac Jun 26th, 2010 07:28 AM

LOL Percy!

You've been a forum lurker. :D

shillmac Jun 29th, 2010 06:33 PM

hip and shillmac together again. Missing tully! Let's get that date on the calendar for BdC next year. Maybe we can get some takers? Who's up for a Fodors GTG at Bosque????

tully Jun 29th, 2010 06:58 PM

1 amigo is missing 2 amigos :D Hope you guys are enjoying yourself, I think it is impossible you are not. Shillmac I know you were looking at birds earlier and fumbling about for your binoc's, hip is off on a trail looking for ...something and I know, I know, Mr Shillmac has an Imperial in his hand and is letting you 2 gals get up to whatever. Abrazos and take pics!

Dyer Jul 1st, 2010 08:26 PM

Wrote you an e-mail tonight - just now figured out where you have been, girl. No surprise. God's speed. T.

Allylam Jul 2nd, 2010 03:52 PM

I have a friend who lives here with me who has always wanted to go the the Osa! Depending on what date is decided, we'd be happy to meet you there!

Percy Jul 2nd, 2010 06:39 PM

Still lurking :)

shillmac Jul 3rd, 2010 09:45 AM

That would be great! Stay tuned to Fodor's as I know tully will be making great arrangements this year! Right, t? Ally, you'd love BdC.

Have not lost my bins once! :P

I have, though, funbled for plenty of other things lost in this bag or that. And I still have that deadly 'safety' pin attached to my backpack as a bit of nostalgia. Careful not to pull on it, though!

Dyer. . .check your e-mail! Happy Fourth everyone! Even the Canadian lurker. :D

We are headed into San Jose by way of Cartago to look at some tile. Thinking to stay in town tonight, tool around Avenida 2 this p.m., visit friends near Heredia tomorrow, and maybe go to the big 4th of July party for U.S. citizens at the cerveceria close to the airport. Ciao!

hipvirgochick Jul 4th, 2010 11:08 AM

Just a quick hello - miss everyone here on the forums. It was great seeing you in Tortuguero, J. Heading to Osa tomorrow. Weather has been great here in Montezuma...HOT! Starting to sprinkle a bit right now though as we head out to Rainsong. Pura vida. :-)

cmerrell Jul 4th, 2010 12:28 PM

Hope you are having an awesome time, hip! And hope shillmac found some tile that struck her fancy. :-)
