Great wine lists in BA

Based upon our readings, this site, discussions, etal we have a pretty good idea of the better restaurants in terms of food, location etc.

However,as wine buffs we do not have a clear picture of which restaurants have the best wine lists. We plan to primarily eat in padillas and Italian restauranrs. .

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Related wine question re;buying high end Spanish wines to bring back to USA.

Would Spanish wines like Vega Sicilia be much cheaper to buy in BA than .NYC?

Sucre has a great wine list

Sucre has a great wine list, agreed. Some of their wines are not listed and are sold exclusively by Sucre and the other two restaurants under the same management, Bar Uriarte and Gran Bar Danzon.

Not sure about imported wines...most imports cost as much in BA as at home....protectionism at work

Try Lomo (aegentinean meat) in Palermo or La Parolaccia (italian) in Puerto Madero. Sucre is excellent, very recommended.
