Great Time In Cabo!

I have just returned from a week in Cabo San Lucas. The following is my report:
1) I saw no prostitutes nor was I solicited
2) I saw no drugs nor was I offered any drugs
3) I received nothing but kindness and help with directions from the police
4) The timeshare sellers are no worst than Cancun or Key West
5) I rented a car and had no problems---never saw a wreck all week!
6) The meals were great and the costs are in line with meals in Florida or Cancun
7) The weather was the best, warm/dry in the day and cool/dry at night
8) Almost everyone I or my family interacted with was helpful and friendly
9) Mia Casa and la Republica are superb restaurants
10) Rent ATV's from Serigo's, the beach/lighthouse tour is the most fun for the money
11) The drive to Todos Santos is great but I was a little disappointed in the town.
12) The beaches are clean and beautiful and not crowded this time of year
13) There is a trash problem in and around the city
14) The roads suck but they are still recovering from a major hurricane which struck them last fall
15) The fresh avacados and mangos were the best! Try a mango on a stick at one of the beaches
16) We had a good time!

Where did you stay. I am looking at Finistera for a potential honeymoon; any advice?

I was there too Jun 18th, 2002 12:30 PM

Not only did I not see prositutes, I did not see one strip joint, nor heard a whisper about drugs, did not even request a copy of the Gringo Gazette,
did not see even see a beach, nor an ocean, nor my wallet disappear. I was there too.

For a honeymoon the Westin Regina Resort is very, very nice. It's located in the corridor area between the airport and Cabo. If you want to stay in Cabo try Pueblo Bonito Rose located on the main beach in Cabo. I stayed at a time share resort, Misiones del Cabo. Feel free to ask any questions.

The best exchange rate can be found at the American Express located inside the airport.
