Girls looking for a NIght life in MA

We are 5 single late 20's girls that have never been to costa rica and are going in april. we are only there for 4 days and are staying in MA. How is the night life there? Any bars that you recommend? what are some must see sights in MA. We heard there are beautiful waterfalls close by, but have seen nothing posted on there. Can anyone give advice on a great place for dancing?

MA is not a hot spot for nightlife. Jaco has more but tourism in CR is centered mostly on the beach and nature.
If you are looking for nightlife, Mexico has more to offer.

Quepos and MA are not known for wild night life - there are a few bars in Quepos but I wouldn't say there's a whole lot happening in MA area.
Jaco is a couple of hours closer to San Jose and you could do a day trip to MA to see the park etc. There's the Canopy Zip Lines near there two but the night life is a lot more happening than in MA - a few bars/clubs with decent music to all hours - more singles and less families...

Cheers,
Andrew

Most of the places we found in MA that could classify as a bar/resturant type place were more about sitting back with a good drink enjoying the nature around you and listening to good "chill" music and really laid back.

Down on the beach itself we ate at a little grill type place that turned into a disco at night according to one of the waiters, but Im sure it was only on the weekends and I don't know how "happening it is or was"

MarYSombra at the beach on Fri. and Sat. for late night music and dancing in M.Antonio. In Quepos, try Arco disco. It really starts to crank up about midnight. On Tues. and Thurs., El Banco Bar in Quepos has ladies night, drink specials, good music. Dos Locos in Quepos has live music on Wed. and Friday. Ask around to find out where Robbie with Live Wire is playing, it's always a good time. Bambu Jam has live jazz and blues on Fri. and Saturday. This is not South Beach or Cancun but you should be able to find a bit of nightlife. Have fun!
