Getting to Cozumel?
 

We are going to Cancun next month, and then on to Cozumel. We do not want to rent a car. <BR>How can we get to Cozumel? Are there ferry's that run from Cancun. Can find no information on the travel between the two cities.

First there is no direct ferry from Cancun to Cozumel. The best thing to do is take a bus from downtown Cancun bus station to Playa del Carmen then hop a ferry over to Cozumel. <BR> <BR>Hope this helps <BR> <BR> <BR>Tommy <BR>www.geocities.com/travel_with_tommy

Jean, there are several ferries each day from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel. We've never a problem with them - you just show up and there's usually one within the hour. (They don't, however, run really late in the evening.) There are first and second class ferries - we've taken both depending on which one is there at the time. Trip takes about 45 minutes - 1 hour. When you arrive in Cozumel, you're right in the town of San Miguel and you can grab a taxi from there to wherever you're going.

Hi Jean <BR>You can also fly a "puddle Jumper" (Aero Mexico) from Cancun to Cozumel in about 15-20 min.
