Gate 1 Costa Rica Trip
 

We did the Gate 1 Costa Rica Trip in July ( the rainy season) and had a wonderful time. We went to see the plants and animals of the rainforest and were not disappointed. Our Costa Rican guide, Gilbert, was extremely knowledgeable and managed all of the arrangements.
We traveled to San Jose, Arnal, Rio Frio, Monteverde, and Manuel Antonio. The Eco-Termales Hot Springs were my wife's favorite spot. I especially enjoyed the Monteverde Hanging Bridges walk and the Zip line. The rain cancelled a horseback riding tour, but other than that, it was not an issue. You are, after all, there to experience the rainforest. Just be sure to bring rain gear and an umbrella.
