I've never stayed at an Al,(I was just writing about my vision of Als on the Caribbean page!) but the best one in Cancun right now is the LeBlanc. It gets very enthusiastic raves on TA.
And I have to say, it does look pretty darn nice.

you know, I should've mentioned Royal Hideaway, too. It's in Playa del Carmen, which is only 45 south of Cancun, and it gets a 4 star rating from AAA, and also all raves from most visitors.

I also was thinking of Royal Hideaway for a top rated AI.

Yeah, I had already suggested Royal Hideaway to her but for some reason they were thinking of Cancun. I think she may have changed her mind today after I gave her some more info.
