Am just finishing up a six night stay at this beautiful resort. Happy to answer questions.

We are going next Saturday -- fill us in on all the details... any room upgrades? How is the weather?

We are headed there in September. Could you tell me about the beaches there? I know they won't be like the Caribbean, but are they swimmable?

Also, how would you suggest packing for the 4S? Resort casual? Are meals pretty formal, or not so much (i.e., jacket and tie)? Were you on the meal plan or did you eat ala carte? Which would you recommend? thanks.

Please inform of any unexpected surprises, good or bad. How is the food? We will be visiting later in the year and understand we will be fairly limited to the resort in terms of dining. Any recs about activities on or off resort? Thanks!!

Associate - The weather has been sunny in the mornings with an afternoon rain every two or three days.

Cheeseygirl - Both beaches are good for swimming. Playa Blanca has good snorkeling and is very calm. You can also take out kayaks and small sailboats from this beach. Playa Vidador is open to the Pacific and has more wave action and is where most of the lounge chairs are.
I have a few pictures if you would like me to email them to you.
