Flights from ATL in May - $$

Hello again, everyone!

It's been a while since I posted! My fiance and I are less than 6 months away from our CR honeymoon and I just started looking at flights. Right now, the lowest is $531 from ATL with a stop. Delta is non-stop at $600 each.

Now I know you guys have boasted really great airfares down there, especially during the Green season. Is it safe that I hold off til I get a better rate?

TIA!

Do you know where you'll be going in CR? ATL should have more direct flights to Liberia on American. In any case, you might do better by waiting, as I don't think the prices will go up.

I have planned on Arenal for couple nights, MA for 4-5 and then back to SJ for 1 night. I haven't booked anything yet, but these are the areas we'd like to visit.

THANKS!

Allison: With your itinerary, you'll definitely want to fly into San Jose (SJO). IMHO, hold off making your reservations. Fares are not yet reduced for off season as your travel dates are still 6 mos. out. Subscribe to Delta's "weekly webfares" and they'll make you aware of any fare discounts to Latin America via your email ... and then jump on it quickly! You should see $400 +/- out of ATL on a good fare. Safe travels!

Agree with Lisa. With your plans stick to the San Jose airport, but wait before booking.
