First time Costa Rica: please advise which cities are best to visit!!!!!

Hi- at the end of March my famil is visiting Costa Rica for the first time. We will have our 2 children, ages 11 and 3. We hope to see a lot of wildlife and nature. I am having so much trouble deciding which cities to visit but at the same time don’t want to try to pack to much in to the trip and be stressed. As of right now this is the plan:
Day one- arrive at SJO at 7pm, stay the night right next to the airport
Day two- wake early and drive to Manuel Antonio, stay the night there
Day three- around noonish head to Monteverde and stay the night there
Day four- stay another day and night in Monteverde
Day five and six- Arenal area for the next two days and nights
Day 7- Leave in the early afternoon for San Jose and stay close to the airport for an early morning flight the next day.

Please let me know if anyone has any insight on this trip. If we should delete anything or if it sounds doable. Right now I have all the hotels booked but they are refundable still and I’m able to make changes.

Thanks so much!!!

For me that's way too much moving around. Most people stay in Manuel Antonio at least three nights. We usually stay four in the Arenal area when we go. Monteverde is good for two or three nights as well. It takes a long time to get from place to place.

Too much moving around. With a week, you should choose 2 locations. Arenal and MA are the most popular with first time visitors.

Also the road to Monteverde is very long and bumpy, might be a lot for a 3 year old.
