Ferry from Arenal to Monteverde
Is the ferry from Arenal to Monteverde passenger only, or take vehicles as well? Thanks in advance.

It is not really a ferry. If you have a car you can arrange to have it driven up to Monteverde for a fee so you can go by private transportation through the cloud forest. Monteverdeinfo.com does this.

Its more of a little lake boat. No room to move around at all, just sit in your seat and enjoy the ride...

We know you can arrange that somebody takes your car from La Fortuna to Monteverde. Take care with this because al contracts with the Rent-a-Car companies have a clause that this is forbidden. Of course you can take the risk but we think it's worth to mention this.
