Fax number or website for Hotel San Francisco Plaza in Guadalajara?

I am looking for a fax number or website or email address for the Hotel San Francisco in Guadalajara, Mexico.

The fax number I have is 011-52-33-3613-3257 (I'm calling from Texas) but I can't get it to go through.

We're making a weekend trip to Guadalajara and would like to try to make a reservation. Any other suggestions for a clean, budget place near the city center?

Muchas graciás,
Sandy (in Denton)

Thank you . . . I'll give the second number a try.

Has anyone stayed at the Posada Regis? I've found a website for them and have emailed but not heard anything back.

Normally, I'd just wait and find something when we arrive but we arrive around midnight! Don't want to be out searching for a hotel in the middle of the night.

Thanks,
Sandy (in Denton)

What area do you want to be in Sandy?

have you tried Holiday Inn, Best Western, Novotel and Ibis?

Since we'll just be there for the long weekend, we would like to stay in the downtown historic area.

We're REALLY budget travelers, we'd like to keep the room to under $60/night. Both of the hotels I mentioned are in that price range and the SF Plaza has many recommendations.

Grácias,

Sandy, I think the Regis is where we stayed! It is budget, very clean, very central. I remember the bathroom got very wet when I took a shower - typical of a budget hotel. But the rates were good.

Thanks Susan . . . I'll check into the Posada Regis.

I finally got a fax to go through to the SF Plaza but have not heard anything back yet . . . maybe today!

I finally broke down and called the SF Plaza . . . their fax machine is out being repaired.

The desk clerk spoke English and I was able to reserve a room . . . now . . . let's just hope we really have one when we arrive around midnight!

Thanks for all your help,
