So you saw Panama as well? We never did figure out the 'Light" quizz.... Any more hints?

tully Feb 22nd, 2007 06:33 PM

What a lovely family you have! Love the pics, especially the mama & baby sloth, they almost look unreal! Is the small bean shaped pool at CV? Never seen it before I don't think!

Hi Tully, thanx for the kind words. The little sloth was soo cute, when they stopped to eat a little opossum critter ran over the mamas back, stopped, and turned round and scuttled over her again! The little pool is up in the A area just below Casa Quinta. I think its the nicest pool.

Hi faithie and tully

Yes about those lights in Panama City, well those nice tall buildings were built by the drug lords and used for money laundering

Many were empty ,some just had a few floors being used.

That is why there were no lights at night on many or all the floors.

In you city, downtown Montreal ,even though the office buildings may be closed for the evening ,until next morning...they still have all (or almost all )of the floors lit up , it look nicer that way.

But Panama City does look nice at night anyway.

Take Care
Percy

PS. I am off in about 10-12 days for the month of March and a few days into April

Wow, great pics Faithie! How fortunate to see the sloths so close. Makes me wonder if you saw them just once or on a few occasions as they travel so slowly don't they?

And ohhh....to dine in The Anaconda again! Brings back some great memories. Thanks for sharing these special family moments with us.

What a totally adorable family.

The pics are great, thanks so much for posting. Love the sunset pics, did you take those from Costa Verde?

faithie Feb 23rd, 2007 02:19 AM

Hi Guys! Thanx forthe building info Percy, interesting. Have a great trip.

We were very lucky "slothwise" this trip. On one walk up the hill we saw 7 in a small area! The mama and baby were very close-up, just outside the front desk area at Costa Verde, they were crossing the road on a monkey bridge. The sunset pics were taken from the big "Clubhouse" up by area A at Costa Verde.(near Casa Quinta) Thanx all !
