Faithie

Hi there! I would've e-mailed you (more appropriate than using the forum), but didn't have your address. Just wanted you to know that I wrote an e-mail to the owner of La Buena Nota (I remembered Lisa telling me they were friends, or THOUGHT I remembered it!). She wrote back immediately, said that yes, they have been friends for ages, and that Lisa and Harry are doing great. She said she would pass along to her the difficulty I've had in contacting her by e-mail. So I just wanted you to know that all is well with her.

By the way, did you know that La Buena Nota is for sale? $800,000 the asking price. Do you want to go halvsies?

There you go! It really would be a nice little business to own. Would probably pay for itself fairly quickly. And has accomodations upstairs for living. Hmmmmm, indeed!

Ahhh....now I realize which place this is,is it the book-bathingsuit-everything store? Its just down the road from Costa Verde. The people who own it are expats who have been there from the early MA days. My neices stayed in their rental units on the road down to Makanda. (if its the place I'm thinking about)

Yes to all of the above, you know it. It is a very popular little place. Everything from swimwear to the usual souvenirs to the Tico Times. They've always done a lot of advertising. Wouldn't it be interesting to know how much they net in a year?
