Ex-convento San Pablo
 

Has anyone stayed at the Ex-convento San Pablo hotel in Oaxaca City? We found a link to it on the Oaxaca Hotel Group website but can't find any reviews. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I have not stayed there, but have been in the place when I was checking out accomodations to bring groups to Oaxaca. It is only a few blocks from the Zocalo, but not on one of the more senic streets. Inside it was certainly very nice. The accomodations are high end but it lacks the pool, location, etc. that someplace like the Camino Real has.

Thanks for the info. It's comforting to know that it's probably pretty nice, since we're going in two weeks and had to scramble to find a place to stay after our original hotel mysteriously cancelled our reservation though we had sent our credit card number to confirm.

Just out of curiosity, what was your original hotel, or do you mind saying? We're going to Oaxaca in late February.

so b, did you stay at Ex-convento? Has anyone else? I can't seem to find any reviews for this hotel.
