Embera-Dura Village

How do we to to the Embera village for the day? Best hotels Plaza Patilla Inn (are these city view rooms)?, Milan Hotel, can't find any photos but alot of americans living in Panama stay here, or La Estancia B&B looks great but may be a bit far from town?

Thanks for suggestions. Leave US on 02 Oct

If you like:
center area: Milan and Marbella $35 and $40/ night
Bay view: Plaza Paitilla $50/night
Panoramic view from the Ancon hill: La Estancia $50/night

The major tour operator offer the Embera indian village, the diference between them is the price, quote a couple of them and asking them for promo. the avg. price is USD80 p/p.

Good lucks,

Also, the only one hotel that you mentioned with pool is Plaza paitilla.

May be the pool is important for your final decision.

I stayed at Plaza Patilla in April- beautiful room with great view and floor to ceiling windows but there were bed bugs in the bed!I never expected that in this hotel-but woke up itching and luckily had 2 beds in the room-the other bed did not have bugs. I since heard a trick to see if there are bed bugs- put an open bar of soap between the sheets and if there are bugs, they will show up on the soap.

Bad news for the Paitilla Inn.

Try Milan or Marbella, no bed bugs there (I hope)
