El Tamarindo or El Careyes
 

Interested in the Costa Careyes/Manzanillo area for Feb. 2010. Does anybody have a preference between these two resorts? They book look stunning, so differences in activities, food and service will help us decide.

Can't help with differences but we went to El Tamarindo in Jan and loved it!

I can't help either, but I wish I had the dinero to stay at one of these places.

I'm just a working stiff but we save every penny for fabulous vacations.

I used Skyauction certificates for our El Tamarindo stay and I believe Luxurylink has El Careyes auctions if that helps.
