DuPlooys Jungle Lodge -

Has anyone stayed at the DuPlooys Jungle Lodge near San Ignacio? Would love to hear comments about it or any other recommendations for a jungle lodge in that area.

Thanks,
Patti

Have not stayed at DuPlooys but have enjoyed a wonderful stay at Mopan River Resort....unbelievable good value, very nice accomodations, food and all-inclusive activities.

Great lodge, fantastic section of the Macal River, impressive botanic gardens, nice accommodations, meals, staff and lovley views, great choice.

I stayed there my first trip to Belize in 2004. A wonderful experience! Nothing I would change.

We really loved neighboring Macal River Jungle Lodge - great jungle setting, food, hiking trails, canoing, sweet tent cabins, phenomenal birding, even from the hammocks. Let me know if you're interested in hearing more; MRJL link and my photos/travelogues below:
