Driving to Osa Pennisula

Is Manuel Antonio on the way to the Osa Pennisula? We are considering driving, but probably don't want to do it in a full day. If Manuel Antonio is on the way, how long of a drive is it from MA to Osa? If MA isn't on the way, are there any other cool places to spend a night on the way to OSA?

Thanks!

Lots of places to stay on the way. You could go through Manuel antonio and then down through dominical. the road from quepos to dominical is still pretty rough going but once you get there it is a new and very good road down to Palmar sur where you will turn to get to drake bay. Allow some time once you pass dominical to make a few stops to see the ocean. You will be passing bellena Marine Park and the whales tale sand bar in Uvita is fun to see. I saw it from the air and it really does look like a whales tail!.

Just returned spent 3 nights in Manuel Antonio and hired Oscar to drive us to Sirepe. We then took a boat to Jinetes de Osa in Drakes Bay.
The drive took 3hrs and the boat an hour you have to be at the dock in Sierpe by 11am
There are also daily flights on Natures Air from Manuel Antonio to Palmer Norte then you take a 15 min taxi drive to Sierpe and then the boat to Drake
The drive from M A was a beautiful although extemely bumpy. I wish we could have spent a couple of days in Domincal The boat ride was exciting and a great way to arrive at our lodge
Have Fun Ami
