Driving Times Mexico

I am hoping someone can give me driving times for these 2 trips.
Merida to Palenque
Guadalajara to Puerto Vallarta

Ballpark times are fine. We know the distances, but not the condition of the roads etc. We will be travelling in January.

Thanks all.

I have not yet done this drive, but I've read multiple sources that say the drive from Guad to PuertoVal is 2.5-3 hours.

Just a tip--when I was driving in Mexico, instead of buying insurance at the border, I bought it online. It was cheaper & didn't have the hassle at stopping somewhere. The website I used was www.mexicoinsurancenow.com.
Safe Travels everyone!

Don't know where you read this but
According To Guía Roji The premier Mexico Road Atlas at www.guiaroji.com.mx GLD to PV is 5 hours & 15 minute. If you are driving in Mexico this is a great tool showing roads, toll costs, location of Gasoline stations & accurate driving times. About $22 with shipping.
