I don't think it's adults only but there's a 4 Seasons out in Punta Mita (about 1 hr from PV).

Oh, never mind, it's not all-inclusive either. Sorry.

Villa Premiere in Vallarta comes to mind, but I'm not sure exactly what level you seek when you say "luxury".

I think the most luxurious all-in in the PV area is Velas Vallarta. AAA gave it 5 stars, which is unusual for an all inclusive. Looks very expensive and big and nice. It is in Nuevo Vallarta.

but I dont think Vlass is adults only. The Premier, as Suze mentioned, is adults only.

Yes, it's in Playa del Carmen on the other side of Mexico, just south of Cancun. It's got a reputation as the premier all inclusive in Mexico. I haven't stayed there, all inclusives don't really appeal to me, but the tripadvisor reviews are all raves.

The Premiere is adult only and you can choose either a meal plan or not. I assume you could include bar charges in such a plan, not sure because we never do that. I stayed there and read about their offerings which included activities at the next door Buenaventura as well as meal plans. We loved it and loved that we could walk to town from there.

Hello,
I've travelled to PV many times, and I think that the best AI hands down is the Grand Velas in Nuevo. It is more expensive than most, but is definitely worth it. The food is fantastic, the rooms are beautiful and they do allow children-but there aren't many due to the high AI fee. Go to Tripadvisor.com, punch in Grand Velas and read the fantastic reviews.
Hope this helped.

I would have to agree w/frankie Although I haven't been there I have read about it, only reason I haven't stayed there is the location. I prefer staying in P.V, as opposed to Nuevo. I honestly wouldn't consider any of the hotels in P.V. Luxury. There are some very nice hotels such as Marriott, Sheraton, Fiesta Americana, And the Villa Premiere and Dreams are considered the best of the best they have to offer right in P.V. If you are in doubt go to trip advisor and read the reviews of the hotels, that should help. My personl favorites are the Marriott and the Sheraton the Marriott is located in the Marina the Sheraton is closer to town, another favorite location is Dreams although I stayed when it was the Camino Real best beach in town. Good Luck
