Driver Needed! Or will trade wife for plane ticket ! :)

Ok, ok... so I'm not REALLY trading her. BUT, I'm hoping that some of y'all can recommend a good driver to take us from the airport in Alajuela to our hotel in Manuel Antonio in late November...as well as a way to contact the driver.

Our flight into CR lands at an inconvenient time to fly Sansa, not to mention I'd probably lose an arm due to the fact that my wife would be clutching it so hard...she's not the biggest fan o' small planes.

Plus, I figure being driven down and flow back will give us the "best of both worlds" so to speak. And on the way back to Alajuela, she'll be so worn out that I'll just tell her we're going to "El Avion" for breakfast and she'll be on the plane before she knows what's up! Haha.

Thanks for any tips you can give me.

Well, I didn't use him for that long of a trip, but a guy took me to my hotel in Alajuela (15 minutes) and seemed really nice and had a new clean van. He gave me his card & it says he does transfers anywhere in CR. His name is Julio Peraza, cell phone is 506-375-7039 and home phone is 506-433-8414. No e-mail listed.

If you are giving up the air tickdet that would be of interest.

I hired the famous Oscar to take us from Finca Rosa Blanca to Manuel Antonio. Cost quoted = $150. If you search for his name on this forum, you will find his contact information--I don't have it handy, alas.

Anyone ever use www.costaricashuttle.com ? The rates seem pretty reasonable, so just wonderin'.
