Dreams Tulum or Iberostar Paraiso Lindo?
 

Hi Everyone,

My 14 year old son and I will be visiting the Yucatan Peninsula in March. We would like to try an all-inclusive and have narrowed it down to either Dreams Tulum or Iberostar Paraiso Lindo. Higher end properties and good food are important to me, but we also want fun and a new experience.

Would appreciate any input on which you would choose and why. Many thanks!

I Haven't been to Dreams, b ut the Iberostar Lindo is a fantastic resort. You can eat ala carte every night if you want and there is a concierge in each building to make your dinner reservations for you.
There are a lot of activities thrroughout the day for you and your son.

I prefer a la carte for dinner - any recommendations for which restaurants you would recommend? Given that we will be there during spring break, should we contact the hotel ahead of time to reserve dining?

Any buildings/locations to request at the Lindo? I believe we are leaning towards a jr. suite.

What is the best way to get from Cancun to the Lindo and about how long might it take?

The Lindo is about a 25 minute ride from Cancun airport. If you book a package, transportation is usually included. The Iberostar is usually one of the first stops too.
The restaruants are really a personal taste thing...the Cajun is very good as is the gourmet. Staying at the Lindo, you can reserve dinner at the Japanese restaurant at the Beach side or the resort.

There is a general section, a menu section and then scroll down to the section for the Lindo. You must register at the site to access the menus.
Buildings 52 and 53 are centrally located at the Lindo.
The resort does not take dinner reservations in advance unless you are in a large group. You can make all your reservations for the week with your concierge when you first arrive.
