Domestic flights in Argentina: transfer times? Missed flights?
I am hoping to arrive in BA (EZE) at 8:50 a.m. on a Saturday. Would that give me enough time to transfer out and catch the 12:05 Aerolineas to Salta?

Has anyone ever missed a domestic flight with either Aerolineas or Lan? Was the airline good about exchanging your ticket or were you stuck?

To avoid this situation and keep your vacation from starting on the wrong foot, I would spend the first night in BA, then take an early domestic flight next morning (we took the 10:00 am flight to Jujuy). The domestic airport is right in BA...15 minutes from downtown.

On our first trip, the overnight flight from NY left 3 hours late....if you insist on flying from the domestic airport the same day you land in AR, then I would go for a late pm flight (nothing earlier than 3:00 to ensure time for delays, etc.

I would also think if you use a travel agent and miss the flight, the TA would be able to assist you with re-booking the reservation.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

I was afraid someone would say that. I am working with a TA and she has recommended a late flight out to Salta, but I can't help but think of all that wasted time.

Anyone with more *hopeful* insight?

Do either of these airlines offer stand-by options? Book a later flight and if your on schedule go stand-by on an earlier flight.

All times are GMT -8. The time now is 05:55 AM.
