Going to be staying at the Playa Del Carmen Iberostar Quetzal... Will we be able to eat and play at the Iberostar Pairaso or any other Iberostar in COzumel as well?? How many PDC Iberostars are there and how close by each other???? Any one know taxi cost from ferry to Cozumel Iberostar??

Yes, you can get day passes at each Iberostar....Paraiso, Quetzal, Cozumel. No cost but you have to get to each one on your own. The Iberostar Paraiso has a shuttle bus that does go into Playa Del Carmen every hour or so and I guess you could catch that bus also. The Paraiso is about a 20 to 25 minute bus ride north of Playa Del Carmen. The Quetzal is just a few minutes outside Playa Del Carmen (about a 20 minute walk or 5 minute ride). The Iberostar Cozumel is about a 20 minute taxi ride south from the ferry in Cozumel. Cab should be about $17 U.S. Altogether there are three Iberostars but two of them have two sides...the Iberostar Paraiso (Beach/Del Mar), the Iberostar Tucan/Quetzal. However, these two resorts can each be regarded as one location with two sides (confusing....just think of it as Iberostar Cozumel, Iberostar Paraiso, Iberostar Quetzal) Once you're in the Paraiso or Quetzal, they're regarded as basically one resort with two lobbies.

Hi PJ. we have been to Cozumel numerous times. On our last trip we stayed at the Iberostar. We really enjoyed it. Great pool, Nice rooms, pretty good food for an all inclusive. <BR><BR>But....its FAR from town and if your taking the ferry to Cozumel be prepared to spend 20.00 us each way. <BR><BR>Some friends of ours stayed in Cozumel for 2 nights then went to Playa for a night. The hotel worked it out as part of thier package. Something to consider.
