Do you need a mosquitonet in corcovado?

Hi, we're going to corcovado on a 2 night, 3day tour and are asked to bring a mosquitonet. Since we dont have one with us, only mosquitorepellent, Im wondering if you really need one or can get by without?
And if you need a net,, does anyone know where we can buy one?
Tnx
Tess

sounds like they dont spray. given things like dengue fever and malaria do you really want to be there without one? REI.

YES!!!!! Absolutely necessary. We saw what happened to those who did not take appropriate precautions--looked like chicken pox.

Outdoor stores that cater to campers/hunters/fishers should have them. Amazon has them as well.

Yes, yes, yes. We didn't have one, had to try to sleep with spray on us. Any area that wasn't sprayed got bitten. My husband says never again. I'd go back in a heartbeat. :)
