Departure Tax in Cancun Airport
 

Can anyone tell me what the airport departure tax is? I have heard that it is $17.50 US. If so, can this be paid in Pecos or US funds?

I just got back 12/06, the departure tax was included in our AA ticket. Check your tickets, and with your airline to see if it is included, i've been to cancun 2 times this year and 3 times in the past never had to pay the tax out of my pocket. Make sure you have exact change if you pay for anything in $US because you will get pesos in return. <BR> <BR>Doug <BR>
