Deals at Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica - Peninsula Papagayo?

Planning a vacation at Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo, and seeking deals/packages below FS' published rack rates.

Also, is its price drop after 4/29 because of the rainy season or summer fall-off in tourism? How bad is the rain here during early May?

Haven't ever found any deals on reduced prices at the Four Seasons Resorts and Costa Rica is almost completely sold out for the next several months so they have little need to discount. Virtuoso will usually get you a guaranteed upgrade and a few extra amenities but little or no price break. Let me know if you find something, we are planning on going next year!

Just returned from the Papagayo Coast last week.
I saw the Four Seasons from all angles.

Our tour guide Ricardo said to me:
"Percy, don't come here in May or June it is just too hot".

Of course I have just been here so he told me later in the season is better.
(Like after September.)

This is in no way to be interpreted as "do not go"....only that this is the comment he made to me.

About the Four Season, this is who has been there within the past year.
Michael Jorda
Madonna
Bruce Willis.
I think some of them have a private cabin /suite there.

I doubt there would be a discount...but maybe because of the heat, this could be a little "slow" time for them.?!!

When you look at the Costa Rica Map for the Papagayo area, along the coastline..

Well, where you see Playa Panama... see that isthmus that curves down ,well at the very tip of that "piece of land" is where the Four Seasons is.
