Day Trip Possible from Tabacon Resort to Monteverde Cloud Forest?
 

Is this possible or offered? We're thinking about the zip canopy or sky trek tour, but don't want drive to the cloud forest or change hotels just for this. Also, my husband is a rather large man. Is there a weight limit for either of these tours? Thanks!

I would not recommend doing that as a day trip. Most of your day will be spent on the road and it's not an easy drive. It's beautiful, but pretty much a 3 hr (1 way) windy, bumpy ride. As to the other question, I'm not sure, but I would go to the sites (do a search for Monteverde Original Canopy Tour and/or Sky Trek) and e-mail them w/ your question.

Lenore,<BR><BR>You can do a canopy zip line tour right there in the Arenal area. The Original Canopy Tour offers one there, and they are a highly recommended outfit. Don't bother to travel all the way to Monteverde just for this. <BR><BR>As far as the weight limit goes, I don't know, but you can email them to find out.
