Cuzco to Naza

Has anyone gone from Cuzco directly to Nazca? I can't find any information on the internet on this route. I see there are several Lima-Nazca possibilities but not Cuzco-Nazca. We will be in Cuzco after returning from MP and would like to go to Nazca before returning to Lima and U.S. Can anyone help? Thanks!

A few years ago we went MP>Cozco>Lima>Nazca (by plane).

Apparently there is a bus that goes from Cuzco to Nazca, but it seems like a long trip and it doesn't say that it first goes to Lima.

Chack out http://www.frommers.com/destinations/nasca/2872010002.html ((R))

I would be interested in the same information. I was hoping to be able to go direct without going back through Lima.

Thanks, Jed! It looks like we'll fly back to Lima and then go to Nazca. I didn't realize the bus from Cuzco would take 24 hours. Thank you again for the frommers reference.

BTW, the package fare for the day trip, which included a tour of Ica, could be considered expensive. As I remember, the cost then was about US$900 for 2. Of course, I don't know what it is now. We felt it was expensive, but we have always wanted to do it, and felt that it was worth it. ((F))

Also, I looked more, and could not find a flight directly from Cuzco to Ica. It might be because the airport at Ica is a shack with a small landing strip.
