Curu, Cabo Blanco, or Manuel Antonio?

Hi all, just a little inquiry about which beach destination/reserve is recommended. We like a quiter, less developed area and do not want to stay in a big hotel "zone." That's the main reason I've kind of turned away from MA, am I wrong in my assumption? How's the wildlife at Cabo Blanco and Curu?
Thanks for your help!

Curu has very good wildlife, especially if you have a guide. More monkeys than people. And the beach is flat-out amazing. Our guide was Eduardo Sanchez--you can book him through the Ylang Ylang resort or, I've read, by email at: [email protected].

He also operates a shuttle service.

Nice less crowded than MA good wildlife

but not at the level of MA/Osa/Toruguero

gwo has a good point - the Osa really fits the bill for quieter with great wildlife. MA is nice, but it is developed. The wildlife there is very used to people.

I know we don't have enough time or $$ for Osa, maybe next time. Thanks for your input!
