Cruise to Costa Maya and Cozumel
We will be there a few hours ... what can be done to take advantage of that time that is not so long?
We are two marriages of around 75 years old, so sports or strenuous activities are not for us.
As in the past we appreciate the suggestions you can offer us.
Thank you.

Costa Maya, or Mahahual, is mainly a diving/snorkelling/beach destination. The easiest thing to do is to get a taxi to the beach and walk along the Malecon, maybe find a place to eat.

There are a few Maya sites. The closest one is Chacchoben which will take 3 to 4 hours (including travelling time).

Cozumel -- maybe some beach time or shopping. You could get a ferry to Playa del Carman, but it's just more beach, shopping & touristy stuff.

When we did a cruise to that area, we did a trip through them and went to Tulum, Xel-Ha for snorkeling, them had dinner in Playa del Carmen. Very nice!

For something different and unstressful, take a tour of the cemetery in Cozumel, very colorful and certainly interesting...the gates are always open and it is free.
