CR in late May / early June?

We are planning a trip to CR in late May / early June and would like to spend much of it outside and relaxing on the beach in MA. Any feedback on if the weather will be conducive to doing this? Thanks.

Mornings and early afternoons your best bet. Then go to your room and take nap if the afternoon showers come!

Would you then suggest we go in the summer season instead of the green season? We don't have to go in May so is there a better time of year?

Thanks.

I would recommend going on the dry season Dec/Jan. My favorite spot is the Corcovado National park and some areas are not accessible in the green season

True, Corcovado is definitely best suited for the dry season. But if you do a poll here, you'd be surprised at all the people who think the green season is a GREAT time to go. Everything is so gorgeous--even in drier Guanacaste. Truly, any rain we've experienced (and there hasn't been that much) has NEVER interfered with any of our plans. The showers are typically very brief and feel great!

I agree with Shillmac, and used the advice on his postings when we planned our trip last June.
