Hello,
My friend is getting married in Costa Rica in May. I'll be making my first trip there with my husband to attend the wedding. But before the wedding, I am in charge of favors for her bridal shower. I was thinking of putting together beach-themed goodie bags. Since I have never been to Costa Rica, I thought I would ask all you that have if you have any ideas for Costa Rican themed items that might be cute in the bags. The only thing that comes to mind at the moment is Costa Rican coffee!

Little green plastic red eyed tree frogs? Let me think about this some more--cute idea!

Chocolate covered coffee beans are popular there, as are macadamia nuts. Perhaps you could do up something and include them? Ahhhh.... just got back yesterday and I'm homesick for C.R. already. You'll love it.

I'm getting married 2 1/2 weeks and we're honeymooning in CR. My fiance found some pretty cute CR themed sandals at Old Navy which she is giving to her bridesmaids to wear at the reception (more comfortable than the formal shoes for the ceremony) even though they're bright pink and won't match the dresses. Old Navy also has different CR themed casual shirts and other styled sandals. Obviously those type things aren't going to be the most authentic CR products but they might work for you.
