Costa Rica - May 2001 - need advise

Going to San Jose/Manuel Antonio area first week in May. Looking for reasonable restaurants and/or must sees. How about the weather at that time? Any response greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Go to www.maqbeach.com. Also, try this site's many trip reports: community.webtv.net/N0336/CostaRicaTravel (that's a zero in N0336). Lotsa great info!

A great restaurant we tried was in Quepos near MA .Can't remember the name but it was on the road that faces the Harbour and was all fish/. Great fish probably because of all the sport fishing done from there!!!!

We just returned from CR on Monday - the seafood restaurant in downtown Quepos is excellent called El Grand Escape, they will even cook what you catch if you go fishing. We enjoyed eating at the Si Como No restaurant very much and it even has its own movie theatre. Karola's is also very good and romantic at night. Must sees, Manuel Antonio Park (tour guide highly recommended), river rafting, canopy tour, mangrove tour.

Hi,

If you go to Jaco (on the way to Manuel Antonio), visit Colonial Restaurant.
It's really good and the prices are
affordable. Try the "fresco de piņa"
(pineapple beverage)!

Luna

Visit http://www.costaricafriends.com
