No problem DKG; we always hire private drivers, but it seems to me that Tricolor is most often recommended on this board - I'd start by checking them out. A lot of the companies require you to put down a big deposit, but they'll tear up the slip if you bring back the car without damage.

DKG - sorry I'm a little late to this, but sounds like you've made a good decision.
As far as the car, we used EuropCar and liked them fine. Rates were very competitive. Upon arrival, they upgraded us to a large SUV at no extra charge (probably saw all the bags the kids were lugging around and figured we needed it!!!). Have also read good things about Tricolor.
