You actually start at the top and work your way down to the bottom of the waterfall. It's a trail set with steps and pavers. You don't get wet unless you decide to go swimming there which a lot of people do. There's a beautiful crystal clear stream away from the force of the falls if you want to take a dip. The water was so clear that we could see fish swimming in it. Very pretty. The falls are beautiful.

Ok, now I get it. I was just trying to figure out logistics of it all, since that day will be a long day with other activities, and I'll want my camera, swim suit, sunscreen, etc.

MFNYC, I think I know what you mean by climbing the falls themselves, and no, you don´t climb the falls. At the top you have an observation point where you get a look at the falls, across the ravine. You drop down into the ravine along a trail with the falls in front of you, though not always in view. I´m with volcanogirl, it´s beautiful!

I was just thinking how I was going to keep my camera dry! I guess that's not an issue.

Deb, I emailed Rita about the ribs, and she said those are her favorite too, so we're going with the ribs!

So we'll be leaving in 2 days!

Since my last post, I have booked the Mangrove Boat tour in the MA area. I also booked a nature hike with Geovany Bogarin, for in between the LF falls and Eco-Termales.

I have also upgraded my camera to a DSLR so I look forward to finally using it.

I wonder if Geovany is related to Carlos Bogarin - he's a great driver in the area. Hope your trip is wonderful and that you have good weather.
