costa rica help

need some help with my honeymoon itinerary...2nd time to costa rica...plan is to go to puerto viejo first, spend time renting bikes and visiting cahuita and manzanillo. then head to the nicoya where we plan to stay in montezuma first, then check out mal pais and st. teresa on ATV's and decide if we want to spend a night there. That will be the first 10 days of our trip. We then will go to manuel antonio where we will be married on a saturday at tulemar, after 4 days in MA...we have 4 full days total left (leaving around 5:45 pm the last day from sjo)...What to do?
should we...
1. bonsai down to the Osa (we are quick travellers who enjoy the drive) and plan to preview the area for a next longer trip...or 2. check out rincon de la vieja where we can hike and enjoy hot springs...or 3. do a bonsai trip up chirripo...or 4. go back to fortuna and enjoy some relaxation at eco termales and perhaps spend the night before leaving at termales del bosque

hopefully you all understand this tough decision and can provide some advice!
i keep changing my mind that i almost think it's better to wait till we get there...we are budget travellers visiting late november so i'm not too worried about reservations...thanks you!

I'd skip #1. The Osa gets deluged with rain in November. My favorite place shuts down for the whole month because the rain is so heavy and intense.

sounds like an awesome trip. i've rented the atv's in MP & ST and its so much fun! i even stayed at buena vista villas in MA (tulemar) too. i don't know about a suggestion, but i think #2 sounds cool. have fun!

And I'd skip the Chirripo option. Too strenous--I think after the wedding you'll need some serious R&R. . .with just a little adventure perhaps.

You might consider the central part of the country (or La Fortuna, as you said, is always an excellent choice). Get yourselves a plush hotel, enjoy a few day trips, and relax!

Definitely, Chirripo might be a good option for you later on. I'd like to do it, too, but in our fifties and not in what I'd call excellent shape, but decent shape, I'm not sure we could handle it! I'd hate to begin and find that I couldn't do it. . .but have always thought it sounded like a wonderful challenge!

Rafting the Pacuare would be a cool activity for you if you spent the last few days relaxing in the central part of the country.

Congratulations and enjoy yourselves!

skip PV and go to Cahuitas instead, much nicer beach and the Cahuita National Park is well worth visiting:

We still are trying to figure out if we will take the friendship bridge or the ferry from arenal. Both sound fun!
